The Meet and Greet, which is free, is a must before taking on any new clients.
The aim of the meet and greet is:
- to obtain all information required to perform pet-care, dog-walking, and house-sitting services.
- It is a chance for me to go over your routines, for you to ask any questions you might have.
- Pay any deposits owed. (Deposits are required to secure bookings and dates. Deposits are 50% of the overall fee - see T&C's)
- Most importantly, it is for your pet/s to meet me and to make sure we are the right fit for you.
- When inquiring, please note, that I may not be able to do a meet and greet in the same week you contact me.

So, why choose a Pet Sitter over a kennel or cattery?:
Benefit for the Pets:
Please note: I do not offer home boarding, however if you do decide to choose someone whom does, please make sure they have a full Animal Boarding Establishment Licence from the local authority. This is required even if they are looking after your animal in their own home, it's not just for kennels and catteries. Always ask to see the Licence and relevant paperwork.
Benefit for the Pets:
- Staying at home in their safe, secure environment
- Being surrounded by familiar sights, smells and sounds
- Following his/her regular diet and exercise routine
- Having play time
- Receiving love and personal attention
- Maintaining medical treatment, when required
- Having someone responsible in case of an emergency
- Eliminating the trauma of travel or an unfamiliar environment
- Helping to ensure good health (no exposure to other animals' illness or parasites)
- The peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pet is being lovingly cared for by a professional.
- Eliminating the trauma of having to transport and leave your pet
- Not having to impose on family, friends or neighbours
- Feeling your home is more secure (with someone going in and out several times a day)
